“I first met Debbie Ulrich early in 2005 when she joined our awesome group of volunteers helping provide routine care of our rescued cats. When she joined our animal rescue group, Debbie also offered to volunteer to heal our cats, but since I really did not understand what she did, I did not give her offer much thought. Until one day when I rescued Marbles, a declawed Bengal cat given up at the age of 7 after having been in what she thought was her forever home since she was about 6 months old.

You see, Marbles was given up because her owners said they had two small children and did not have time for her anymore. Sound familiar? Well, Marbles hid under the blankets on my bed and rarely came out even to eat or drink. She became so lethargic. She obviously felt betrayed and unloved. She lost about 4-1/2 lbs, so I began to force fed her, but unfortunately her weight continued to drop and her health was obviously deteriorating.

After a vet visit and $200-plus vet bill, the vet said liver damage occurred and there was nothing that could be done to help her. I was told to continue force feeding her and cross my fingers and hold my breath and hope she began to eat soon. I continued force feeding Marbles for about 5 months. I was devastated and felt helpless that all my efforts were failing to help her.

At this point, even though I had no idea how Debbie’s numerous offers could help, I felt I had nothing to lose. So, I finally took her up on her offer. . . Within two weeks after Debbie worked her magic and had Marbles to a point were she was no longer hiding under the covers, she was talking her head off and eating up a storm!

Today, Marbles is a very healthy cat that always has something to say and she has gained her weight back. To this day I still have no idea how to actually explain what it is that Debbie does other than to say that she works her “Magic.”

Since helping Marbles, Debbie has helped with many health and behavior issues with my personal colony of cats, to include voluntarily healing many of our rescue cats. As an animal rescue group, I often encounter distraught pet parents with health and/or behavior issues with their beloved pet. Without hesitation, I immediately refer them to Debbie so she can work her “Magic” for them too!”
